Find your community.
Read its promotion rules.
Find places to share your app, game, tool, shop or content. This growing index covers 2,290 communities, with each community’s rule text and the date read. Read the conditions as well as the verdict: a required thread, flair or disclosure changes how you can post.
What this page is
This index holds the rules of 2,290 Reddit communities as ThreadFox read them between 2026-09-24 and 2026-10-08. Each community's page quotes the rules it lists (or says it listed none), with the date read; the quoted text is the community's, the verdicts are our reading. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and each community's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Posting with AI? 538 of these 2,290 communities have a rule that removes some or all AI-generated posts, comments or media, 44 more remove bots or automated accounts, and 28 want AI content labeled. Each community's page says which, and quotes the rule. See the list.
Want a shortlist for your product? Get a free Reddit plan by email, usually within an hour. It includes quoted rules with dates, what each community expects and removal risks. The plan uses our saved September 26 snapshot; this live index continues to grow. No AI setup needed.
New: Our September 26 report on self-promotion and AI rules, a fixed snapshot with charts and a free CSV. Its community count is separate from the growing index above.

ThreadFox reads the rules before every post.
Most communities in our September 26 report restrict self-promotion. A missing rule is not permission, and a rule that allows promotion may still set conditions. The paid tools read rules, prepare drafts with your AI, publish what you authorize and record later checks. ThreadFox Lite reads rules without posting.

How to read it: the verdict is our reading of each community's rule text on the date shown, and hand-reviewed where marked. Rules change and moderators decide, so read the rules before you post. The index is free to use with a link to threadfox.vip/rules; the rule text belongs to each community. Members are Reddit's own count.
