What this page is

This page quotes r/LinkedInLunatics's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-26. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/LinkedInLunatics's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

What its rules say about promotion

No offsite harassment or engagement
Do not engage with or harass anyone featured here, under any circumstances. This subreddit is for observation and commentary only. The moment you interact with the subject, it stops being humor and becomes harassment. Do not DM, comment, call, email, dox, or attempt to contact anyone posted here in any way, nor encourage others to do so. Any user who engages in or promotes contact or harassment will be permanently banned.
No self-promoting
You are not allowed to promote yourself, anything you have made to include but not limited to browser extensions, AI tools, GitHub projects or your own LinkedIn profile. Self promotion will result in a permanent ban. It doesn’t matter if this is a free, hobby, or otherwise non-commercial effort/product/service/giveaway etc. No advertising anything. At all. Do not ask if your widget may be permitted. Even asking will likely result in a proactive ban.
No Engagement-Bait or Rage-Bait Posts
Posts that exist mainly to provoke artificial interaction or stir outrage are not allowed. If the LinkedIn content’s primary purpose is to game the algorithm it may be removed. * Posts designed to trigger outrage for clicks * Engagement-bait or rage-bait posts that double as stealth advertising * Posts regarding people reacting to or otherwise attempting to garner the attention of this subreddit

All 10 rules of r/LinkedInLunatics
  1. Must be a LinkedIn screenshot.
This is LinkedIn Lunatics. If the content isn't LinkedIn it doesn't belong here. Posts need to be screenshots of LinkedIn, please don't just give a link.
  2. No Reposts
In order to reduce spam, we limit how often the same, or similar, posts can be made. Please look through the sub before posting content to see if it has already been posted.
  3. Keep posts on topic
Posts should be screenshots of LinkedIn content showcasing outrageous lunatic behaviour. Sometimes, the occasional non-lunatic can shine through. This isn't the sub to ask for LinkedIn support.
  4. Satire Saturdays
Satire posts only allowed on Saturdays
  5. No low quality/low effort posts or comments.
At the discretion of the moderator(s), please refrain from posts that are low effort.
  6. Civility
General incivility, personally insulting other redditors in ways to which "harassing" or bans on racial/gender/religion/sexual orientation abuse do not apply

Any user who engages in or promotes contact or harassment will be permanently banned.
  8. No racism, bigotry, or sexism.
No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other sort of bigotry. If you are making a comment based on or at the expense of someone’s inherent personal characteristic(s), it is likely a violation.
At all. What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
