What this page is

This page quotes r/Anthropic's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-24. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Anthropic's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

What its rules say about AI and bots

Complaints Must Contain Sufficient Context
Ensure the complaint with sufficient context to detail your criticism. The post must state your specific use-case of Claude, the issues encountered, and why it is not the same as the past. Criticism of the product is perfectly fine (and encouraged), but spamming complaints that you're leaving without enough context contributes no value to the open dialogue in the subreddit.
No Whining
The posts that merely whine will be removed. Feel free to criticize Anthropic (and Claude), but clarify the issues for the community to engage in a productive, value-additive conversation that helps the original poster and other community members

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
