What this page is
This page quotes r/ChatGPTPro's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-06. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/ChatGPTPro's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

- its rules on Reddit
A community for putting ChatGPT and other language models to good use. Share workflows, ask questions, and learn from what others are trying—in work, study, and everyday life. Whether you’re getting started or exploring advanced uses, you’re welcome here. We’re an unofficial community whose name predates OpenAI’s ChatGPT Pro subscription and has no connection to the plan.
What its rules say about promotion
Share your work as a community member
Made something useful? Explain it, disclose your involvement, and join the conversation. Keep self-promotion within 10% of your contributions here. Avoid promotional link drops or repeatedly posting the same material across many subreddits with little participation. Tailor your post to this community.
Keep this a discussion space
Discussing tools and services is welcome. Buying, selling, trading, hiring, and soliciting paid work aren’t allowed, including deals involving accounts, credentials, or API access. Please don’t move those offers into private messages.
What its rules say about AI and bots
Help make the conversation worthwhile
Share questions, experiences, and discoveries about practical or advanced ChatGPT/LLM use. You don’t need to be an expert—give people enough context to understand and respond. Check for existing discussions, add something new, and choose an accurate flair. Keep standalone memes and joke posts elsewhere.
All 9 rules of r/ChatGPTPro
- Be thoughtful toward others
Questions, disagreement, and constructive criticism are welcome. Address ideas without insulting or harassing people. Hateful attacks, threats, encouragement of violence, and sharing someone’s private information have no place here. - Help make the conversation worthwhile

Use the original headline and add your thoughts or questions in the body or comments. If an article is paywalled, include an authorized free version or another accessible source so everyone can participate. - Keep this a discussion space
Discussing tools and services is welcome. Buying, selling, trading, hiring, and soliciting paid work aren’t allowed, including deals involving accounts, credentials, or API access. Please don’t move those offers into private messages. - Give your post a helpful title
A good title helps people find your discussion and know what to expect. State your topic or question clearly, without clickbait, ALL CAPS, emoji spam, usernames, or URLs. Put extra commentary in the body. - Discuss sensitive topics with care
Thoughtful technical, practical, and ethical discussion of NSFW uses is welcome. Keep the material non-graphic: no pornography, explicit prompts, or graphic examples. - Respect model safeguards
Keep jailbreak prompts and instructions for bypassing safeguards out of the community. This includes requests, links to those methods, and instructions presented as research. - Share tools people can access legitimately
Public tools and features used with permission are welcome. Don’t share or request leaked tools, private endpoints, credentials, or methods for bypassing access restrictions.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
