Which subreddits ban AI-generated posts? SaaS and startups
We read the rules of 88 communities for SaaS and startups. 11 have a rule that removes some or all AI-generated posts, comments or media. 2 more remove bots or automated accounts, 1 allow AI-assisted content only when it's labeled, and 2 more have a rule that names AI or bots. Each community's page quotes the rule and the date we read it.
What this page is
This page lists the communities whose rules, as ThreadFox read them between 2026-09-24 and 2026-10-08, say something about AI-generated content or bots. The quoted excerpts are each community's own words; the grouping is our reading. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and each community's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Posting with AI? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? Remove AI-generated content (11)
A rule removes some or all AI-generated posts, comments or media: some remove everything made with AI, others only AI art or answers nobody checked. Write it yourself there, or pick another community.

What the written rules don't show
- Readers notice. Posts that read as AI-written draw replies calling them out, in communities with no AI rule too. Write in your own words, with real numbers and what actually happened.
- Unpublished filters. Many communities also remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page.
- Rules change. Communities add AI rules often. Read the current rules before you post.
Know the AI rule before your AI writes.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, points at the rules that most often stop a post (AI-written content, flair, posting days, account age and links), writes a post that fits them, posts once from your own Chrome and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules and finds communities too.

How to read it: our reading of each community's rule text on the date shown. "Some or all" includes narrow rules, such as one that removes only AI art or unchecked AI answers; each community's page quotes the rule itself. Moderators decide, and rules change: read the current rules before you post. The list is free to use with a link to threadfox.vip/rules/ai-content. Not affiliated with Reddit or any community listed.
