What this page is
This page quotes r/xxfitness's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-26. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/xxfitness's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

All 10 rules of r/xxfitness
- Rude / Disrespectful
Be respectful to other people and ideas at all times - Asking for medical advice or shared experiences/recovery
We are not qualified to give medical advice **including but not limited to asking for shared experiences regarding a medical condition, procedure, or recovery**. - Possible ED or body dysmorphia related
Our community is not trained to help those who are better served by speaking to a doctor or therapist, and discussion of these topics can be damaging to others. Please see our section on [Eating Disorders](https://www.reddit.com/r/xxfitness/wiki/eating_disorder) if you are looking for resources. - Inappropriate content
Post is not related to fitness or otherwise inappropriate for the subreddit. - Posts Must Meet Content Guidelines
All posts must meet our minimum content guidelines, which are outlined in the rules. Please update your post to meet those guidelines. Alternatively, you can repost in the Daily thread. - Spam / Self-promotion / Undisclosed Affiliate Link
- Microaggression
A subset of our rules on disrespect - for everyday and subtle behaviors that harm marginalized groups (racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc.) - Not fitness related
Just because something happens at the gym does not make it fitness related. - Read the FAQ
Your question can be answered by reading our [comprehensive FAQ](https://www.reddit.com/r/xxfitness/wiki/index) or by doing a [search of the subreddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/xxfitness/search?q=). Please do so and consider reposting your question in the appropriate Daily or Weekly threads. - Single Issue/Personal Agenda
Comments from users who appear on this subreddit only to discuss a specific topic with no history of participation on r/xxfitness will be removed. Comments which deviate from the topic of a thread to interject an unrelated personal opinion (e.g. politics) or steer the conversation to their pet issue will also be removed. Users will also be banned for this in line with the good faith participation requirements.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
