What this page is

This page quotes r/wattpadbooks's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-04. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/wattpadbooks's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

This subreddit is intended for anyone looking to talk about, get critiqued, or give their Wattpad book some exposure! Keep the spam to a minimum, and flair your post if your book is NSFW.

All 6 rules of r/wattpadbooks
  1. Only Wattpad
User posting about books that are written outside of Wattpad (within reason) unless asked specifically otherwise.
  2. Spam
User repeatedly posting about theirs or someone else's book (within reason) limit talking about your own book to twice a day.
  3. Unrelated
User posting about something entirely unrelated to Wattpad or books in general.
  4. Drop your Wattpad user
User posting about their book without leaving a username for readers to find them with.
  5. Be Relatively Kind
User was rude to someone in comments, or post for no reason. The occasional light jab is fine, but don't destroy someone because you feel like it.
  6. Absolutely no using the word pooch.
I just can't handle this word. It's my "moist." Please just don't use it, thanks.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
