What this page is
This page quotes r/unity_tutorials's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-26. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/unity_tutorials's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

All 6 rules of r/unity_tutorials
- Only Unity Tutorial/Resource Content & Discussion
Only post Unity Tutorials, Resources such as E-Books or white papers, or questions related to Unity Tutorials. If you're asking a question about a tutorial, please include the link to the original tutorial! You MAY post your own tutorials. You may also request a tutorial, maybe somebody can help you out with a link. - No Non-Unity Content
It's the r/unity_tutorials sub, don't post about not-unity :) - No Spam
Please don't spam content. You may post your own content, content that has helped you, or that you have a question about, but be reasonable in the frequency of posts. Several posts a day of your own content is not appropriate. - No Assets
This is not the sub to promote your Unity Assets. - No Game Promotion
This is not the appropriate place to promote your game, website, or community. Sharing your own tutorials IS allowed. - Use the Proper Flair
Tag your post appropriately so users can find and filter. "Video" for Video Tutorials, "Text" for Text Tutorials, "Help with a Tutorial" if you NEED HELP following a tutorial. "Request" if you are requesting a link to some tutorial(s) to solve a problem.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
