What this page is
This page quotes r/twinegames's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-24. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/twinegames's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

- Be nice.
- Please follow Reddiquette.
See here: https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439-Reddiquette - Please do not delete posts or comments with useful information.
Please do not delete your post or comment if it contains useful information or there is useful information in the replies, since it may be of use to others. - Questions which are specific to a story format must be marked with flair for that story format.
- The "Game/Story" flair is ONLY for posts which actually link to Twine games/stories people can play.
- Posts should be on topic, directly related to Twine/interactive fiction.
Posts purely asking for things like non-technical story input or player interest for planned projects are off topic. There are better subreddits to ask in. However, asking technical questions - like how specific mechanics could be implemented or whether it would be possible to do certain things in Twine - are completely fine, as is asking for feedback on playable games and demos. Links to games are only allowed for verifiably Twine-based games.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
