What this page is

This page quotes r/squarespace's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-24. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/squarespace's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

Where to post: Normal post with the 'Self-Promotion' flair when linking your own site, videos or resources

What it requires: Use the 'Self-Promotion' flair for links to your own website, videos or resources; clear titles; prompt a discussion; give context for anything behind a signup

What its rules say about promotion

Use "Self-Promotion" post flair when linking to your own external websites.
When posting links to your own website, videos, or resources, you must use the "Self-Promotion" flair in order to provide transparency to the community.
All 5 rules of r/squarespace
  1. Use clear post titles.
Write a title that summarizes your post or question.
  2. Prompt a community discussion.
Posts should be written in a way that engages the community to respond.
  3. Don't post Squarespace support threads.
Do not post Squarespace support correspondences. This isn't the right forum for members to comment on Squarespace's own responses. Feel free to simply ask the same question though!
  4. Don't link to content that's behind a signup or membership without providing context.
Do not post links to content on websites that require a user to signup or become a member unless you provide clear context to the community about who you are and what you're linking to. This creates more transparency with the community.
  5. Use "Self-Promotion" post flair when linking to your own external websites.
When posting links to your own website, videos, or resources, you must use the "Self-Promotion" flair in order to provide transparency to the community.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
