Turns out 'If you build it, they will come' isn't actually a thing. Lesson learned. Now you have your MVP built out & you want out. But all that time and money wasted? Not worth anything as a business, but maybe still worth something to someone? Post it here. Someone might want the overall structure to retrofit to their idea and save them time. Maybe someone thinks they can revive it? Or wants to partner? List it here for cash, equity or partnership.
What its rules say about promotion
If posting your MVP, only post ideas that you have already built out substantially.
This isn't a place to try to sell an idea. If you don't have something already built out at least in large part (Doesn't need to be live, but you do need to be able to prove that you have built something), don't post it. Planning doesn't count.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
