What this page is

This page quotes r/PropTech's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-26. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/PropTech's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

Place for discussion and sharing proptech and real estate technology related topics with other interested redditors. This is NOT the place for spam, hype, advertisements or spam.

What its rules say about promotion

No low value posts.
Posts and accounts that are spam, hype, advertising, marketing, part of a ring of fake reviews, "organic" seo, or similar will be deleted and posters banned with zero warning. Posts or accounts that are just for ideas/suggestions/“tell me your pain points” with nothing to contribute fall into this category. If you're posting the same post in several other subreddits routinely or your post history consists of spamming one product, you're probably breaking this rule.
Pitching and Self Promotion
Pitching and self promo is allowed to the extent that the post is sharing the app for discussion and not trying to disguise something that would break Rule 1 or Rule 3. Lazy "here's my app now tell me what you think" type posts will be removed. Go into more detail.
All 6 rules of r/PropTech
  2. Pitching and Self Promotion
Pitching and self promo is allowed to the extent that the post is sharing the app for discussion and not trying to disguise something that would break Rule 1 or Rule 3. Lazy "here's my app now tell me what you think" type posts will be removed. Go into more detail.
  3. No market research or idea validation
No market research, idea generation, or idea validation. This is not the place to try and find out what you should build. If your post is some variation of finding out pain points, real world problems, or trying to confirm what someone told you, you're probably breaking this rule.
  4. Be courteous.
Be courteous and respectful. It's ok to challenge a premise, but it can be done in a way encouraging discussion not fighting. Exception is for obvious spam. Vent your frustrations away.
  5. Stay on topic.
This is not the place for real estate investment, business, or legal advice UNLESS it is directly related to proptech.
  6. Min Account Reqs
To create a post, your account must be at least 20 days old and poster must have at least 20 min karma.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
