What this page is

This page quotes r/poshmark's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-04. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/poshmark's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

Spam
Inactive community members are not permitted to post links to their blog, YouTube, closet, etc. If you're not adding any value to this sub and are only posting promo links, that's spam. Promoting virtual assistant and reselling services is considered spam. Research surveys are not allowed.
Contacting Poshmark
This is an unofficial Poshmark space. We are not affiliated with Poshmark. Feel free to ask questions and ask for advice here, but if you are having any serious issues please report it directly to Poshmark.
Frequently asked questions
Posts with frequently asked or generic questions such as "How do I clear out my closet quickly" will be removed to prevent repetitive content. Use the search bar or the pinned FAQ post to find tips on how to sell mystery boxes or bundles.
No authentication posts
Do not make posts asking for people to authenticate your items, whether buying or selling. r/Poshmark isn't an authentication subreddit.

What its rules say about AI and bots

Keep it friendly
Keep it friendly. Harassment, personal attacks and witchhunts won't be tolerated and can result in a user ban. We're a small and helpful community, let's be kind to one another! Discussion or suggestions of anything that breaks Poshmark's prohibited conduct rules and community guidelines also isn't okay. This includes suggesting using bots and/or USPS label abuse.
All 9 rules of r/poshmark
  1. DO NOT POST USERNAMES
POSTING USERNAMES OF OTHER POSHMARK USERS OR LINKS TO THEIR CLOSET IS NOT ALLOWED. Regardless of context or intent. This is to prevent harassment of others. Asking people to post or message you the name of a Poshmark user, or how to find their closet, is also not allowed. Failure to obey this rule may result in an immediate suspension or ban.
  2. Block Out Screenshots
Posting screenshots is fine, but ALL usernames need to be blacked out/hidden. Making comments that admit to, or encourage, looking up a Poshmark user via screenshot details or recognizing their identity will result in a ban. Posts made just to make fun of someone's closet or listings are not allowed due to harassment issues.
  3. READ THE STICKIED NEW USER FAQ THREAD.
READ THE SUB'S NEW USER FAQ THAT'S STICKIED AT THE TOP (SORT BY: HOT). Frequently asked questions that are readily available to find using the search bar or Google will be removed. Generic questions asking how to make sales faster are not allowed. This info is easily found in the sub's post history.
  4. Do not bully other users
When in this community, users cannot bully others. Bullying can include personal attacks, insults, rude remarks, etc. In this community we speak to each other professionally and kindly. We may disagree, but there is never a reason to make it personal. Do not post on Poshmark listings you may find via this Subreddit. Do not harass Poshmark users. The community has a zero tolerance approach to bullying and negative dialogue. You *will* be removed from this sub for violations of this rule.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
