What this page is

This page quotes r/opensea's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-26. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/opensea's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

Showcase your work, within limits
Sharing your own collections and projects is welcome. Use the Showcase flair, keep it to one post per project per week, and no referral or affiliate links. Be a community member, not a billboard: accounts whose only activity is promoting their own work will be treated as spam.
No ads for other platforms
Discussing, comparing, and reviewing other marketplaces is completely fine. Advertising them, posting referral links for them, or spamming promo for them is not.

What its rules say about AI and bots

No duplicates, floods, or low-effort spam
Search before posting: reposts of recent active topics will be removed. Keep a reasonable posting pace and don't flood the feed. Copy-paste posts and bot-like content are treated as spam.
All 8 rules of r/opensea
  1. Remember the Human.
Be civil. Debate ideas, not people. Bullying, insults, slurs, harassment, brigading, and witch hunts will be removed and can lead to a ban. Heated market takes are fine, personal attacks are not. Reddit's Content Policy applies everywhere on this sub.
  2. Stay Secure
Never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone, ever. OpenSea staff and mods will never DM you first, never ask you to validate or sync your wallet, and never send you a link to fix an issue. No URL shorteners anywhere on the sub. If you spot a scam, phishing link, or impersonator, report it or send it to modmail so we can act fast.
  3. Keep it on topic
Posts should relate to OpenSea, NFTs, tokens, or onchain culture broadly. Off-topic content will be removed.
  4. Showcase your work, within limits
Sharing your own collections and projects is welcome. Use the Showcase flair, keep it to one post per project per week, and no referral or affiliate links. Be a community member, not a billboard: accounts whose only activity is promoting their own work will be treated as spam.
  5. No begging or engagement farming
No asking for free NFTs, gas, funds, follows, votes, or tips. No airdrop farming, follow-for-follow, or giveaway-bait posts.
  6. No ads for other platforms
Discussing, comparing, and reviewing other marketplaces is completely fine. Advertising them, posting referral links for them, or spamming promo for them is not.
  7. No duplicates, floods, or low-effort spam
Search before posting: reposts of recent active topics will be removed. Keep a reasonable posting pace and don't flood the feed. Copy-paste posts and bot-like content are treated as spam.
  8. Mods have final say
Rules can't cover everything. Moderators may remove content or restrict accounts that harm the community even when no specific rule applies. Repeat or serious violations lead to a ban.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
