What this page is
This page quotes r/microsaas's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-24. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/microsaas's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

A place to change your life with micro SaaS apps
Where to post: Normal post about your Micro SaaS with backstory, tech stack, revenue (optional) or a specific lesson
What it requires: Must be a Micro SaaS; include backstory, tech stack, revenue (if comfortable) or a specific lesson learned; no bare promotional links or insight-free build-in-public updates; no 'DM me' requests; links to paid courses/newsletters need prior mod approval
What its rules say about promotion
No Low-Effort Self-Promotion
You may share your Micro SaaS, but it must add value. Purely promotional links without context, "Build in Public" updates with no actual insights, and repetitive link-dropping will be removed. If you share your product, you must include the backstory, tech stack, revenue (if comfortable), or a specific lesson learned.
No Unethical Tactics or Black Hat
Do not post, promote, or ask for unethical growth hacks. This includes buying fake reviews, spamming scraped emails, astroturfing, or stealing intellectual property.

- Keep it Micro SaaS
All posts must directly relate to Micro SaaS. - No Low-Effort Self-Promotion

Roast the product and the landing page, but not the founder. Insults, harassment, trolling, and toxic behavior will result in an immediate ban. - No Unethical Tactics or Black Hat
Do not post, promote, or ask for unethical growth hacks. This includes buying fake reviews, spamming scraped emails, astroturfing, or stealing intellectual property. - Keep it high quality
Avoid vague motivational posts, generic "How to get rich", or links to paid courses/newsletters without prior mod approval. - No DM ME
We can't guarantee the safety of conversations outside our sub. Any post or comment requesting private messaging will be removed.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
