What this page is

This page quotes r/Logic_Studio's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-26. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Logic_Studio's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

What its rules say about promotion

No Selling Logic Licenses
Do not attempt to sell Logic licenses here, whether they be legitimately acquired or not. We cannot ascertain the legality of such sales, so they are forbidden.
Feedback Requests
If you want feedback on a composition you have created in Logic, or just to showcase a new song, post a screen-capture movie of the main Logic window while the song plays. You can use QuickTime to capture a screen capture movie (command-control-N). If you post just the audio, it will be deleted.
All 8 rules of r/Logic_Studio
  1. Absolutely No Piracy
Piracy is not tolerated. Do not encourage, normalize, or otherwise enable piracy. To do so will earn you an indefinite ban.
  2. No Hardware Questions
Logic_Studio is not a Mac hardware guide: Requests for hardware recommendations, specifications, and other topics more suitable to a Mac sub are subject to deletion. The exception to this is hardware that is specific to Logic and has no use outside of Logic. Violations of this rule incur a 30-day ban.
  3. No Subscription Debates
Debates over whether Logic could or would go "subscription-only" are pointless, annoying, and will be deleted.
  4. No Selling Logic Licenses
Do not attempt to sell Logic licenses here, whether they be legitimately acquired or not. We cannot ascertain the legality of such sales, so they are forbidden.
  5. Use Good, Descriptive Titles
All posts should have good, descriptive titles that briefly summarize their content. Titles such as "Please Help!" and "Cool Trick" are considered bad.
  6. Cheating and other unethical behavior is not permitted.
You may not use /r/Logic_Studio to enable cheating or other unethical acts. Doing so will earn you a ban.
  7. Feedback Requests
If you want feedback on a composition you have created in Logic, or just to showcase a new song, post a screen-capture movie of the main Logic window while the song plays. You can use QuickTime to capture a screen capture movie (command-control-N). If you post just the audio, it will be deleted.
  8. Spam
    No spam. This is obvious.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
