What this page is
This page quotes r/learnjavascript's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-26. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/learnjavascript's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? What its rules say about promotion
No unvetted self-promotion.
The following are not allowed: Requests for subscribers, asking for "test users" for your new JS course, offering paid mentorships, and/or premium courses. Even if there is a coupon discount, no. If you're in doubt, message the mods first.

The better the question, the better the answers will be. If people cannot recreate or understand a problem, they cannot help as effectively. Consider including a code snippet, or perhaps even an entire [JS fiddle](https://jsfiddle.net/). - No unvetted self-promotion.

Plagiarizing/stealing content from the real authors for your own financial gain? You better believe that's a banning!
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
