What this page is
This page quotes r/jobs's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-07. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/jobs's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

General Conduct - This is a professional, family friendly sub - Foul Language is not welcome. Please keep discussions civil. No posts or comments making personal attacks or wishing harm to others or themselves. - Post titles must be specific
Please be specific with your post title. Refrain from using vague titles such as "I need help" and similar. - Articles may be posted as links
Articles may be posted as links. The title of article submissions must begin with "[Article]". All other types of content, including videos, must be submitted as a text post. - No off-topic Posts
Posts which do not relate to job/career advice are not allowed. Posts primarily consisting of complaints about co-workers, bosses, recruiters, or otherwise "low quality posts" will be removed if flagged. We will be lenient, as long as the post is related to /r/jobs ( The core mission of /r/jobs is for "How to get a Job" or "How to quit a job" ), we will allow it as long as it follows all other rules. - Repeated Questions
Posts that are just repeating questions that have already been asked and answered are not allowed. Search before posting as such lazy postings will be removed. - Politics
This is not a forum for you to advocate for your politics, this is a forum for questions directly relating to jobs and job searches. There are plenty of other subreddits where you can discuss politics. - You must provide mods a link if you message us about a post being caught in the filter.
If you reach out to us via modmail about a post needing approval, you MUST provide a link to the post or comment in question. If you do not, it will be ignored and you may get a short ban.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
