What this page is

This page quotes r/growth's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-26. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/growth's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

What its rules say about promotion

No advertising or self-promotion
Do not share your own links, content, blog, or website. Whether it's under the guise of content, feedback or whatever. We are a growth community, not a growth tool. See Reddit Ads if you want to advertise.
Don't share your own blog posts
Feel free to share work you have read and find useful, but posting your own external blogs are not allowed. If you want to share some work you have written, you may do so as a native text post.
No tracking links or URL shorteners
We will remove any tracking, affiliate, or shortened links (e.g bit.ly)

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
