What this page is

This page quotes r/css's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-09-26. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/css's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

All 5 rules of r/css
  1. Posts must be relevant to CSS, Web Design or Related Topics
Posts posted here must be related to CSS, Web Design or related topics surrounding CSS to maintain relevancy.
  2. Be nice and civil
We expect all members of the subreddit to use language that is respectful, inclusive and non-discriminatory. Be kind and helpful to other users. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or any other form of hostility will not be tolerated. Constructive criticism is fine, but do it in a way that doesn't attack someone directly. Remember, there is a real human behind the screens. Learn to have sympathy towards others.
  3. No NSFW Content
Posts & comments containing any NSFW, sexual & pornographic content will be removed. Keep pornographic content, hentai or anything NSFW like erotica stuff out of this subreddit, we don't want them here. We also don't want any other inappropriate stuff like gore or extremely graphic or disturbing images, videos, or text that may cause intense discomfort, distress, or trauma to viewers.
  4. No Spam
Avoid posting spammy stuff, if your account has a history of posting spammy stuff all over reddit you might be banned from the subreddit.
  5. Follow Reddit ToS, Content Policy & Reddiquette
We expect you to follow these when interacting in the community. - [Reddit ToS](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/user-agreement-september-25-2023) - [Content Policy](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/content-policy) - [Reddiquette](https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439-Reddiquette)

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
